I love a list, can’t help it. If I spot a list on anything I will read it. Its an affliction maybe even an addiction. from the top five ways to brush your cat to best ways to live self-sufficiently I have read them all, but what I must like the read, the absolute top of the top five pile are peoples favorite video games lists. I adore these, not only can you get a sense of a person as you read about their favorite games, but you can also find out about games you would of not otherwise heard about. I thank all of you who have given me many hours of enjoyment reading through your blogs, helping me find, what to me were things I would never have heard about and even helped me see some games in a completely different light.
So without further ado let me lead onto into a little post about games I would never have heard about without you the WordPress communities help. I have found games to dust of the Switch for, games to play on a mobile phone, genres I would never have considered and many more in between. Please see the below list 🙂 of everything I have picked and have either played or will play based on so many peoples recommendations. Thank you all again
1.The game that helped me dust off the Switch. The one the only Wondersong. Its weird it’s wonderful, its full of charm and its full of signing, Yes, you heard that right singing You can sing at any time, to anyone, even when you are being spoken to by an NPC character, Its silly, its lovely. It wants to give you a hug and the end might bring you to tears. Thank you to everyone who mentioned this.
2. The one to play on the commute. The lovely looking Florence. Now I will admit I have not played this but, everything about it sounds fantastic. It’s about, from what I understand, one person’s journey through their life and the relationships they have during that life. Its a game that sounds interesting, thought-provoking and destined to make the daily commute fly by, I just have to get the crack in my phones screen fixed first.
3. The one to look out for. Days Gone. This is an early addition to this list and it is purely based on the look of recently released videos, basically Days Gone is a game set after a Zombie apocalypse and yes, I know we have all seen too many Zombie games and movies to get interested at that basic premise but, in this, they are called Freakers 🙂 Freakers you see not only want to hunt you out and tear you limb from limb they also have basic needs of their own, like the need to drink water. Which gives them a lit bit, of extra oomph in the terror stakes. You never know if you are safe or not, you never know what’s around the next corner. Throw in the everything in the game world has been ravaged by the same virus, including all the animals and you have got all the ingredients for what could be the next Last of Us or Horizon Zero Dawn. We won’t know until April but I am excited to find out.
4. The one I will probably watch online. Resident Evil 2. I’m old I have said it before and I will probably say it again. I played the original Resident Evil 2 on its original Playstation release all those years ago it terrified me then and the new one looks like it will probably terrify me all over again. Plus I could never get my head around some of the stranger puzzles but, someone will and they will probably do it all in ten minutes on the day of release. I look forward to my back seat return to Racoon City.
5.The Puzzler. Generally not very good at puzzles. We all have a genre we can’t do anything with and puzzle games are my Kryptonite. I could be sitting for hours staring at something that will only take the next person a few minutes to solve. Its a problem and something I do really want to improve at and that is why I have chosen Donought County as the game to help me do it. I know its not much of a puzzle as you play as a giant hole with the goal of just swallowing everything around you but, its description is puzzler and that’s good enough for me. Apologizes if you see me on here asking for help in the next few weeks.
And of I go to read a few more lists
